The "Varicardstar" app for managing the training process

 

Achieving the peak of an athlete's functional reserves is only possible through a scientific approach to understanding the subtle mechanisms of regulation systems adaptation. It is through sports that scientific knowledge in the field of physiology and medicine of a healthy person is stimulated, directing scientific interest not to a "disease-centric" but to a "health-preserving" paradigm of human health, built on the theory of adaptation.

Laboratory data is an integral part of modern management of the training process. They allow for an objective assessment of the athlete's body condition, identify signs of overtraining, monitor the effectiveness of recovery measures, and individualize training loads. A comprehensive approach to laboratory control, which includes biochemical, hormonal, and immunological indicators, provides high information content and allows for optimized sports training.

One of the main parameters in managing the training process is the PANO level, but it changes on a daily basis, so laboratory data from treadmills (running machines) conducted even a week ago can lead to incorrect management of the training process.

To ensure a personalized approach to athlete preparation for the main events of the season, we developed the "Varicardstar" application for the ISCIM 6.2 program. Valery Starodubtsev, the 20th-century world champion in middle-distance running, played a significant role in the development of this application.

The advantages of the Varicardstar application is that it allows within 5 minutes at rest non-invasively and without interference of physical exertion, which is very valuable, (unlike direct tests to failure and laboratory tests on blood), also to get a deep analysis of biochemical processes, mechanisms of energy supply, the condition of internal organs, hormonal background and the condition of the central nervous system and to make on an operational basis, depending on the condition on the day and hour, if necessary, adjustments to the current training process. Knowledge of urgent information about the condition of athletes allows to reduce the risk of injury to almost zero.

Thus, in sports, as well as at all stages of our lives, maintaining sufficient energy potential and an optimal level of homeostasis plays a significant role. The Varicardstar program allows for fine-tuning the training process in order to achieve an optimal level of health and functional reserves in the body, and is of great importance in preventing and minimizing the occurrence of sports injuries, chronic stress, and Sudden Death Syndrome.
